Hawaiian Community Assets is dedicated to increasing homeownership opportunities for Hawaii's families through home buyer and basic financial management education programs and through one-on-one counseling in credit repair, debt reduction, saving for down payment and closing costs.
Free home buyer education courses are offered throughout the Hawaiian Islands. Workshops cover the following topics: Are you ready to buy a home?, Managing Your Money, Understanding Credit, Getting a Mortgage Loan, Shopping for a Home, Keeping Your Home and Managing Your Finances.
